5 Must Have For A Good Dental Plan
Dental plans are not equal some are just better than others. The list below is the most essential any Dental insurance must have to be considered among the top ones.
Make sure your dental plan has these elements on them or else...... it's up to you. There are options and know that you do not have to manage.
1. No Waiting Period To Start Receiving Benefits: Most Dental Insurance plans will make you wait up to 12 months before you can use it. To me that defeats the purpose of saving money. Think about it if you are paying $40 a month you must have paid up to $480 before you can use the plan and on top of that you will have to pay your deductible.
2. Pre-Existing Conditions: Make sure your pre-existing condition are covered without any hidden fees or something. If your pre-existing condition are not covered there is no need for the dental Insurance because they will deny the claim anyways.
3. No Annual Dollar Spending Limit: Most Dental Insurance will cap you off about $1000 Annually and this is after you have paid your premium for about a year before using the plan. Find a Dental plan that will not cut your spending off in any year.
4. No Deductible: This is a big one because some Dental coverage are actually Dental naked and leave you not covered at all. If you will have to pay $500 or so before the Dental coverage start to cover you plus you have already paid up $480 on Premium that's close to $1000 which is the max the plan will pay anyways. Make sure your Dental plan do not have any Deductible.
5. All Ages are Covered: If your Dental coverage will not cover all members of the family maybe it's time to look for the one that will. It does not make a lot of sense to buy an Insurance only when you are old. Covering all members of the family will in deed save you bounch of money.
